Resource Management System

Downers Grove, IL – Upp Technology, Inc., the leader in emergency management systems for Statewide Public Health officials, today announced the latest release of their Emergency Management suite of products to include the newly-enhanced irms|RM Resource Management. irms|RM will provide enhanced resource data including: NIMS categorization, ties to asset management and graphical representation, enabling better management of response and recovery efforts and status reporting during times of crisis.
Integrating our Resource Management solution to an already strong irms|EM Emergency Management platform provides optional links to industry-leading mapping tools such as ESRI's GIS to readily available tools like Google maps. These easy-to-use mapping features allow incident managers, resource managers and first responders to easily integrate data such as ad-hoc field command areas, PODs and staging areas, and quickly distribute them throughout the responder network. Additionally, the easy-to-use integration and categorization of existing statewide resources to NIMS standard definitions streamlines communications between incident commanders and first responders with a simple yet powerful interface to communicate tactically as well as geographically.
