Upp has created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate our commitment to protecting information you choose to submit. This Privacy Policy only applies to data gathered on upp.com (the "Site"). Each time you visit the Site or provide us with information, you are, by doing so, accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy at that time. Please review the Privacy Policy periodically as it may be subject to update. This Privacy Policy is effective February 1, 2009.
Non-Personally Identifiable Information
The Site employs tools to collect and aggregate non-personally identifiable information in order to determine the effectiveness of the Site and our marketing activities. This includes data such as browser/operating system, pages visited, in what order, and at what time, and IP address. Although not personally-identifiable, an IP address can determine a visitor's Internet Service Provider or general geographic point of connectivity to the Site.
For these purposes, the Site employs Google Analytics, which uses a cookie to collect anonymous traffic data. Personally Identifiable Information
Visitors to the Site may choose to register with the company or submit a résumé to be considered for current and future employment opportunities. Jobs are updated frequently, even daily, and visitors are encouraged to revisit the Site for the latest opportunities. If you choose to provide personally identifiable information, such as name, phone number, email address or a résumé, it is not necessary to register again. However, you may, in particular to update your skills and experience.
Use of Personally Identifiable Information
Profiles and résumés are evaluated by Upp. Visitors who are appropriate candidates for an opportunity for which they applied, or possibly another position, may be contacted. When résumé submission is part of the process, Upp will not submit your résumé to a third-party without your consent.
By submitting a profile or résumé to the Site, you are consenting to potential contact from Upp via phone or email. Please do not submit phone numbers or email addresses where you do not wish to be contacted. From time to time, visitors who submit personally identifiable information may also be contacted by phone or email concerning new job opportunities - positions not available when you first applied.
Protection of Personally Identifiable Information
Upp has implemented commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure. The information you choose to submit is protected and used only for the purposes stated. However, Upp cannot guarantee that unauthorized third-parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
What We Don't Do
Upp will not share information you submit to the Site with third-parties except: (1) when submitting your résumé for employment and, (2) in compliance with a legal request from a law enforcement agency. Upp will not submit your résumé for employment without your consent. Upp will not willfully sell, lease, or rent any of your or your business' personally identifiable information to any third-party.
